GRAPE VARIETY: Montepulciano 50%, Cesanese 35%, Sangiovese 15%

SOIL: limestone-clay

VINIFICATION: fermentation on the skins for 10-12 days at a temperature of 20°-23°, post-fermentation maceration, malolactic fermentation spontaneous or induced after racking.

AGING: in steel tanks until malolactic fermentation,then the wine rests in cement tanks until bottling,and continue to refine in the bottle for about 6 months.

TASTING NOTES: ruby red color with bright reflexes,the nose has hints of sweet red fruits, ripe cherries, warm and enveloping notes in a perfect harmony with the taste sensations, that are fruity and elegant without bleedings and without exceding, a wine of great harmony and pleasure.

PAIRING: this wine is not a “prima donna”,but a perfect companion who can hardly penalize or be penalized by those accompanying, large possibilities of pairing that allow this wine to go beyond the usual matching of the red wines, all cheeses, red meat, full bodied pasta dishes, but also pizza with figs, delicate pies, risottos, dishes based on vegetables and fresh dairy products.

SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 16°-18° C.

SIZES: 75 cl, 150 cl.
