Terre di Breccia
Organic wine - Lazio rosso IGT


VARIETY: Montepulciano, Sangiovese.

VINEYARD: Breccia planted in 1995 with a south exposure

SOIL:chalk-clay.

VINIFICATION: fermentation on the skins for 20 days at a temperature of 30°C. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.

AGING: 9 months in 500 ltrs. French oak barrels, then 9 months in the bottle.

TASTING NOTES: intense ruby red. The nose is elegant and persistent with red ripe fruit and spice, notes of plum jam, cherries, herbs and tobacco, finish is vanilla.
Taste is warm, dry and quite fresh with a good tannin. It is an elegant wine with soft tannins and a pleasant acidity. All sensations are well balanced by the fusion of the different tasting notes. Very persistent at the nose and in the mouth, the barriques supports the wine perfectly without overwhelming.

PAIRINGS: this wine is perfect with meat, lasagna or tagliatelle with ragout sauce, beans and pasta soups, meat ravioli, veal games and grilled meat.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18° C.

SIZE: 75cl - 1,5 liter magnum
