Since 2008 we have moved to the
Organic Cultivation of our grapes. The change to “Bio” requires a period of 3 years for the complete conversion and so, we will be officially
certified Organic from the 2011 vintage. We have already stopped using both fertilizers and chemical insecticides since 2008.
Organic Cultivation is interesting for us because, having fewer weapons with which to defend against diseases and infestations of the vines, one is obliged to follow the crop with greater care. In order to keep the vineyards well-balanced, we are forced to pay
greater attention to the different needs of the single sections. All of which translates into a
better quality grape and consequently better quality wines.
